A Word from Paul's Men: "What Did Jesus Do?"

What Did Jesus Do?
This morning a Catholic gentleman from Florida, Lois Pizzano, made national news when his church, Holy Name of Jesus, decided to offer prayers for the soul of Osama Bin Laden. Pizzano decided not to go to Mass this Sunday because he felt we should be praying for our troops, not the devil.
I am in no way justifying the behavior of Osama Bin Laden. Note however, he was a human being, not the devil. He certainly bought into evil but he was not Satan.
During the television interview Pizzano constantly used the word “I”. I believe, I am opposed, I this and I that. When Jesus was on the cross he said “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”.
So Pizzano decided not go to Mass this weekend to protest the decision of the church. Who is being punished with his ego? The obvious answer is Jesus, the person on the cross who forgave his enemies. And had it not been for the west coast clown advocating the end of the world this weekend Pizzano probably would have gotten a lot more publicity. His behavior has given anti Christian comedians material for their folly.
Lois Pizzano received his 15 minutes of fame with press interviews and a lot of hoopla.
Lois my man, you need to take the work “I” out of your spirituality. Try replacing it with “Jesus”.
